Synopsis
The
words and environments of five very different and insightful women
are used as the source of imagery for this dramatic short. Mean
Doreen, Lorna, June May, Cora and Naomi represent a variety of
ages, races and classes of women who talk about the men in, or
sometimes out of, their lives. The women bare their souls with
a comic-sad poignancy that puts the listener at ease while simultaneously
revealing intimate tensions between the sexes.
