Synopsis
The
Black Boots revolves around the loss and retrieval of one woman's
love and conviction to dance. The film cuts from dance class to
street to beach to ballroom to park to classroom with the ever
mobile boots as the transitional focus. The effortlessly
fluid dancer savors her trespass into an empty ballroom as a romance
with a stolen moment. This film conveys one dancer's love and
beauty of dance and how she ultimately finds the dance within
herself.
